PREVIEW: Junior World Cup semifinals

Both teams have made it to the knockout phase unbeaten and they have both recorded big wins against quality opposition.

Ireland beat Geogia and Wales, but they also caused one of the big shocks in the tournament with a 33-24 win over New PREVIEW: Junior World Cup semifinalsZealand.

They will be high on confidence, but they cannot underestimate the Argentinians.

The South Americans recorded big wins against France and South Africa before finishing the round robin phase with a comfortable win against Japan.

In the other semifinal proper, hosts England (also unbeaten) will face South Africa.

England are the favourites to make their sixth Final appearance in eight years after showing some great form in their first three matches.

The smashed Italy and Scotland in their first two games, before doing just enough to beat Australia in their third match.

South Africa, on the other hand, had a tough time during the round robin phase.

Japan gave the Junior Boks a huge scare in the first half of their opening game, however, the South Africans raw power saw them win comfortably by the time the final whistle blew.

The Junior Boks then suffered a shock loss to Argentina before they secured a bonus-point win against France in their last game to book themselves a spot in the semis.
