Fresh-faced Uruguay face stern test

The largely amateur Uruguay team lost 9-54 to Wales in their opening match and cannot expect much better from Sunday's encounter with the two-time world champions in Birmingham which flank Juan de Freitas believes will be a stern test of their fitness.

The Wallabies opened their campaign with a 28-13 win over Fiji on Wednesday.

De Freitas is expecting his side to run the ball more, anchored by the half back partnership of flyhalf Felipe Berchesi and scrumhalf Agustin Ormaechea, against an Australian side which will be tougher than the Welsh.

"I imagine the game with Australia will be more difficult than against the Welsh on a physical level and they are more dynamic as well. We will run the ball more but that will mean we must run a lot more," said De Freitas, who is one of the new faces who Lemoine drafted in.

De Freitas is one of four changes to the scrum, the others being prop Mateo Sanguinetti, hooker German Kessler and lock Franco Lamanna.

There is one alteration in the backline with wing Leandro Leivas coming in after recovering from injury.
