(Capacity: 90,000)

The original Wembley Stadium hosted the 1966 Soccer World Cup final, the 1985 Live Aid concert and the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1948 Olympics- with five of football’s European cup finals also taking place on this ground.

The Walsh has played the most (seven) rugby games here because the Millennium Stadium was built in the late 1990’s.

A memory that no one will forget was Scott Gibbs’ try on this ground against England in 1999- with the Welsh recording a famous 32-31 five nations victory.

The stadium was demolished in 2003 and was completed four years later- with its Foster design and distinctive arch. The new Wembley Stadium has already staged the Uefa champion’s league final in 2011, Olympic football, boxing, NFL matches, both codes of rugby and motorsport.

The first match played on this ground that involved professional players was in March 2007, when England’s U21s drew 3-all against Italy U21s.

The first international rugby games were in 2011 when New Zealand demolished Wales 36-0. Besides sports that stadium has hosted concerts- with the likes of Eminem performing to a record crowd of 90 000.
