Puma power for Exiles

London Welsh further strengthened their front row resources for the challenge of the Premiership, signing Argentinean loosehead prop Pablo Henn.

Henn, 31, won the most recent of his nine Test caps for Argentina against England in June 2013.

He will add some serious weight to the Exiles' push to be competitive in next season's Premiership after joining Welsh from French side Limoges.

As well as international pedigree, Henn also brings a wealth of Top 14 and European experience to the Exiles from his time at Stade Francais, Montauban and Brive.

He made his international debut against Chile in 2004 and in 2012 helped the Pumas to a 23-20 victory over France in Cordoba.

London Welsh head coach Justin Burnell said: "Pablo really impressed against England last year, he's made over 100 appearances in the Top 14 in France and he's just an out-an-out natural scrummager. We've had brilliant feedback on him.

"The set-piece is hugely important in the Premiership and the signing of Pablo is another massive statement by the club.

"He's an Argentina international, he did a fantastic job against England last year and he will further strengthen our front row quality."

The 2014/15 Premiership season will see Sunday afternoons at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford become synonymous with London Welsh (unless on occasions when dictated otherwise by television), with the club having committed to playing their home games at the Kassam Stadium for the next three years.
