What has happened to French rugby? That is the most burning question in the game at present.
Gone is the passion, gone is the flair and gone is anything that resembles a competitive team.
Yes, the scoreline suggest it was close and the French had a remote chance of a win late in the game.
But it would have been a travesty of justice if they managed to get the victory. They were simply SHOCKING!

Showed some serious pace in chasing kicks downfield, but his defence let him down and his goal-kicking was not on par either.

Luckily the game was indoors, otherwise he would have been very cold on the wing.

A bit of a mixed bag – a few promising runs, a clean break and a few tackles, countered by disappearing at times and missing tackles.

They often ran at his channel; and he made a good number of tackles – also won a crucial turnover penalty turnover midway through the second half.

He passed more than 80 percent of the possession he received and seldom tested the Wallabies around the edges – when he did run he lost the ball.

A few strong runs, tackled like a demon and won plenty of valuable line-out possession.

Pounced on anything that resembled a loose ball and was a rock on defence.
