Kayser boost for France

Clermont hooker Benjamin Kayser eased fears he will miss France's tour to New Zealand next month by announcing he will be on the plane on Tuesday.

Kayser was forced off after 43 minutes of Clermont's Top 14 semifinal defeat to Castres on Saturday with a knee injury.

But he took to Twitter on Monday to explain that he will be fit to travel.

"IRM on the knee very reassuring!! Tomorrow morning it's off to New Zealand!!" he said.

The 28-year-old, who has 17 caps, will be one of 27 players heading Down Under on Tuesday, to be followed on Sunday by the remaining eight members of the squad who are involved in the Top 14 Final between Toulon and Castres this Saturday.

France play Test matches against the All Blacks on June 8, 15 and 22 and also tackle Super Rugby franchise the Blues on June 11.
