Todd out for weeks

Todd fractured his hand during the National Provincial Championship match between Canterbury and Otago on Sunday.

The 29-year-old has seen a hand specialist on Monday, who will continue to monitor his recovery.

Todd will be in a splint for four weeks at which stage he will be reviewed by the specialist before being cleared to play.

The NPC Champions Canterbury travel to Napier to take on  Hawke's Bay in Round three this weekend.
