Castro to quit Tigers

Italian international prop Martin Castrogiovanni said Friday that he has agreed a switch from Leicester to French Top 14 team Toulon, but will wait for the two teams to hammer out the details.

"I have reached an agreement with Toulon but I still have a year on my contract at Leicester," the 31-year-old player with 91 caps told ESPN radio.

"The two club are in the process of reaching a deal. In theory, all is sorted out. I should sign next week but I cannot say I am a Toulon player nor that I have left Leicester."

Castrogiovanni has been at Leicester since 2006 and played in three English title-winning teams.
