Double Marius

Marius Jonker and Marius van der Westhuizen have been appointed to referee the two Currie Cup semifinals.

Veteran referee Jonathan Kaplan will handle the first Currie Cup promotion-relegation match between Griquas and the Pumas at GWK Park in Kimberley on Friday.

The experienced Jonker will take charge of the first semifinal, between Western Province and the Golden Lions at Newlands in Cape Town.

Van der Westhuizen, one of the country's best up-and-coming referees, will officiate the match between the Sharks and Free State Cheetahs at Kings Park in Durban.
