Fourie gets Stormers captaincy

Deon Fourie, who will once again wear the No.7 jersey, takes over the Stormers captaincy.

Fourie steps in for the injured Springbok skipper Jean de Villiers, who has been ruled out with a sternum problem.

De Villiers, in turn, will be replaced in the No.13 jersey by fellow Bok Juan de Jongh in the only change to the starting line-up that defeated the Southern Kings 19-11 back on June 1 – before the break for the mid-year Tests.

Meanwhile, in two changes to the bench from the Stormers' last Super Rugby appearance, hooker Siyabonga Ntubeni and prop Ross Geldenhuys replace Martin Bezuidenhout and Chris Heiberg, respectively.

Geldenhuys, on loan from the Southern Kings after previously playing for the Cheetahs and Lions, will make his debut for the Stormers.

Stormers:  15 Joe Pietersen, 14 Gio Aplon, 13 Juan de Jongh, 12 Damian de Allende, 11 Bryan Habana, 10 Elton Jantjies, 9 Louis Schreuder, 8 Nizaam Carr, 7 Deon Fourie (captain), 6 Siya Kolisi, 5 De Kock Steenkamp, 4 Eben Etzebeth, 3 Juan Harris, 2 Tiaan Liebenberg, 1 Steven Kitshoff.

Replacements: 16 Siyabonga Ntubeni, 17 Ross Geldenhuys, 18 Gerbrandt Grobler, 19 Don Armand, 20 Dewaldt Duvenage, 21 Gary van Aswegen, 22 Gerhard van den Heever.
