Leopards maul Border CD

Border Country Districts were absolutely no match for the Leopards when they lost 64-0 on day four of Craven Week.

Try for the Leopards after they take a quick tap and Gopolang Moeleffe hands off a couple and runs in the try. The conversion is successful from Markus Coetzer and the Leopards lead 7-0 after three minutes.

The second try for the Leopards came soon after the first as centre Michael Hearn shrugs off the Border defenders and he scored the try. Coetzer added the extras and it was 14-0 after seven minutes.

The Leopards captain ,Tiaan Bezuidenhout, forced his way over for the third try for his side and Coetzer made no mistake with the conversion. 21-0 advantage to the Leopards after 12 minutes.

Mick Carrol got his sides fourth try after a turnover at the scrum and he showed some good strength and power to score from about 70 metres out. Coetzer added the extras and Border CD were starring down the barrel at 28-0 down.

Moleffe got his second try just short of the half hour mark as he went over after a poor defensive scrum from Border CD. Another successful conversion from Coetzer extended the lead to 35-0.

There was a second try for Mick Carrol as he pounced on a poor kick from Border Country Districts. Coetzer misses his first kick of the day at that is half-time and the Leopards lead 40-0.

Coetzer kicked an early penalty in the second-half to increase the Leopards advantage by three points.

Another try for the Leopards as Thabo Chirwa went over from close range. Coetzer's fifth conversion meant the score moved on to 50-0 lead.

Coetzer got his name on the try scorers list as he scored under the posts – and converted his try. 57-0 to the Leopards with 20 minutes left on the clock.

No.8 Tiaan Bezuidenhout got his second try of the day. Another successful conversion from Coetzer and it was 64-0 to the Leopards.
