Lions captain yet to decide future

Lions captain JC Janse van Rensburg is said to be one of two South Africa props heading to struggling French club Bayonne.

French sports site Sud Ouest said Bayonne have signed Gert Muller, from Agen, and Van Rensburg.

Van Rensburg was not immediately available to comment, or confirm the move, while calls to the Golden Lions Rugby Union also remained unanswered.

However, his agent James Adams announced on Twitter that Janse van Rensburg had only received an offer from the club and has not signed yet.

Adams tweeted: "This is to confirm #JCJansevanRensburg has not signed at Bayonne. He simply has an offer. Decision tbc 30 May."

Sud Quest stated it as fact the two South Africans will be playing for Bayonne next season.

Muller, 27, arrived at Agen in 2010, but has played little this season following ankle surgery.
