Brad Macleod-Henderson was on Tuesday revealed as Sharks coach for the upcoming Currie Cup season.

Hilton College confirmed the appointment on Twitter with a tweet reading: “Congrats to the 2 year former 1st XV coach and old boy Brad Macleod-Henderson (BMH) on his appointment as Sharks head coach for Currie Cup!”

Sharks CEO John Smit also commented on the appointment, tweeting a picture of himself and Hilton College headmaster PB Ducasse and saying: “Passed by Hilton College today to thank them for Brad, hopefully the start of good engagement with our Schools in KZN”

Macleod-Henderson takes over the reins from assistant coaches Hugh Reece-Edwards and Grant Bashford, who shared the head coaching responsibilities following John Plumtree’s controversial exit.
