Mys edges closer

Mys moved one step closer to winning the rugby365 prediction challenge after the weekend’s Super Rugby play-offs.

The first round of the play-offs raised the stakes but Mys managed to hold on to first place in our SuperBru pool after backing both victorious home teams.

He heads the standings on 120.25 points with Heronimus moving into second place (118.25points) and Gideon climbing to third place (117.50 points).

Pierre, who finished the regular season in second place, dropped to fourth after tipping the Cheetahs to beat the Brumbies in their first ever Super Rugby play-off.

On the rugby365 side of things, Michael de Vries moved up to eighth place (114.50 points), Quintin van Jaarsveld improved five positions to 31st place (110 points), editor Jan de Koning moved up 14 spots to 148th place (100.25 points) and Nick Tatham improved seven positions to 157th place (99.50 points).

Highlander will wear the yellow cap this week after scoring 4.50 points.

The overall winner of the rugby365 prediction challenge will win a South African franchise jersey of his or her choice.

*The cut off time for entries was the final week of the regular season, hence no more entries are allowed.
