Schools Top 20 - April 30

There is a change at the top. After two weeks at No.1, Outeniqua have been dethroned by Paarl Gim. And there are other significant changes.

Paarl Gim were outstanding in George and were much the stronger side. They now move to No.1.

We have left Grey at No.2 even though Outeniqua beat them 22-20 at the start of the season. This weekend Grey beat Selborne 41-5. In fact in their nine matches since their lost they have scored 453 points with 89 against them. Not the sort of results to demote a team on.

Monnas have dropped after losing twice in the week to Centurion who are up three places and EG Jansen who are up a place.

Nelspruit have continued their strong form with a comfortable win over Kempies. Marlow have moved up two places after beating Nico Malan and Paul Roos get onto the Top 20 after their big win over SACS.

Beaten by Wynberg for the second year running, Grey High drop to the pressure group just below the Top 20 where Wynberg join them.

With all those strong sides in action at the Wildeklawer this week, there could be more changes next week.
