Schools Top 20 - May 7

The teams have again been tested, this time mainly at the exacting three days of play at the tournament at Maritzburg College.

Paarl Gim and Outeniqua were again most impressive while Affies and Grey Bloem fought off strong challenges. Glenwood, Monnas and Paul Roos seem to have picked up their seasons while Dr EG Jansen had two strong wins.

The first seven places this week are unchanged but after that there is a fair amount of shuffling with Westville, Paul Roos and Glenwood benefiting most.

There are two new sides in the pressure group underneath the Top 20 – Boland Landbou and Selborne.
