Tahs ready to go on trial

The Waratahs will play three pre-season trial matches, in preparation for their 2013 Super Rugby campaign.

Coach Michael Cheika will also see the Waratahs' Wallaby players return to training next week.

Following their rest period, the international players return to NSW duties and will undertake a modified training program to ensure their optimal return to full pre-season training ahead of the first trial match in four weeks' time.

The Tahs start their pre-season trial matches against the Rebels in Hobart on Saturday February 2 (North Hobart Stadium), then they take on the Blues (Toll Stadium, Whangarei) on Saturday, February 9 and finally the Crusaders at the Allianz Stadium on Thursday, February 14.

With these complete, the side starts its 2013 Super Rugby campaign in Round Two by travelling to Brisbane to take on the Reds on Saturday, February 23.

The full squad will participate in a team session on Monday and other selected sessions throughout the coming weeks, with the Wallaby players and the rest of the squad also undertaking separate conditioning, strength and skills-based sessions.
