Triple Bok boost for Stormers

The Stormers will welcome back a host of injured players including Boks Eben Etzebeth, Bryan Habana and Elton Jantjies on their overseas tour.

Hooker Deon Fourie (concussion) is the only injury worry from the victory over the Sharks at Newlands on Saturday, but he will be fit for his team's opening game of their four-match tour against the Hurricanes which comes after their bye this week.

Siyabonga Ntubeni and Rynhardt Elstadt have both overcome their shoulder injuries and will be available for the Hurricanes game along with Habana who has returned after his knee injury.

Etzebeth and Jantjies will both be available for the second game of the tour against the Blues, but Don Armand and Gerhard van den Heever are still in doubt for the tour.

Armand is still struggling with a rib injury, whilst Van den Heever is still making his way back after injuring his knee.

Stormers coach Allister Coetzee admitted that it is a relief to have so many players returning from injury ahead of what will be a testing tour.

"It's great to see the long list of players returning from injury – especially when one considers how many players we've been without of late.

"The bye has come at a good time for us this week. The guys have a few days off and we'll have our first (and only) session of the week on Friday, before we fly overseas on Saturday," he added.
