Two Lions down in Durban
Lions players Jaco Kriel and Andries Coetzee are training with the Sharks as the Durban side looks to ease an injury crisis.
Flanker Kriel and outside back Coetzee will be looking to join fellow Lions player Franco van der Merwe, already on loan at the Sharks following the Johannesburg franchise's relegation from Super Rugby.
"I've got Jaco Kriel here from the Lions at the moment and he's just visiting, looking at the place and is going to train with us this afternoon," Plumtree said.
"Andries Coetzee is here as well. We'll have a look at him."
The Sharks have also promoted academy player Sean Robinson, also a young wing and fullback, from their Vodacom Cup side to the Super Rugby set-up.
Senior men Bismarck du Plessis (knee), Willem Alberts (shoulder), Butch James (knee), Louis Ludik (shoulder), Tim Whitehead (hand), Jacques Botes (hand) and Jean Deysel (ankle) are presently out, although the latter may return this week.
