WATCH: Talk of Bok's departure premature
Golden Lions coach Zacharia de Bruin said there is "no chance" of an early release from his contract for Bok and Lions lock Franco Mostert – who is a wanted man in Europe.
Ambitious Championship (second tier) club Bristol is just one of several English teams linked to the highly-rated Bok second row forward.
The Rugby Paper's transfer column, On the Blindside, claimed Bristol have "sounded out" the interest of the 26-year-old, Mostert.
As well as Bristol, a host of Premiership clubs are reported also interested in signing him – Leicester Tigers, Bath, Gloucester, Sale Sharks and Worcester Warriors also making enquiries.
However, he is still contracted to the Lions and his Japanese club Black Rams until the end of 2018.
"He has a contract with us until the end of Super Rugby next year," De Bruin told a media briefing on Thursday.
"Obviously he is in demand, because he is a good player," De Bruin said, adding: "But he is staying with us.
"You will always get these reports. It is often sensation or agent pushing a case."
When it was pointed out to him that there are many examples of players who move abroad, such as Bok scrumhalf Francois de Klerk, despite having binding contracts, De Bruin said in those cases the Lions agreed to an early release.
However, he said that won't be the case with Mostert.
"We will keep Mostert," the coach said, adding that the lock is far too valuable.
