Worcester Hogg a new coach

English Premiership club Worcester named former -Scotland international Carl Hogg as head coach.

The former Melrose, Edinburgh and Scotland back row makes the move from Gloucester, where he has worked for the last seven seasons.

The 43-year-old Hogg, who earned five caps for Scotland during his playing career, will be reunited at Worcester with new director of rugby Dean Ryan, after the pair successfully worked together at Gloucester.

Hogg is the latest addition to the new coaching team at Worcester that also sees former New Zealand and Wales international Shane Howarth taking over as backs coach.
