Munster hold onto flying All Black

Former All Blacks wing Doug Howlett has signed a contract extension with Irish province Munster until the end of season 2012/2013.

The 33-year-old has been with Munster for the past four years and has been a resounding success scoring 32 tries since making his debut in a Heineken Cup game in Clermont on January 2008.

“I’m obviously delighted to have agreed terms. My family and I are very happy here in Munster, it’s home to us and we’re very much looking forward to remaining here,” Howlett said.

Munster are currently in the running for the Pro 12 title, lying third on the table at this stage.
