Framesby go across to Grey

Rugby in the Eastern Province has many rivalries of all sorts based on differences.

This is one of them – Grey vs Framesby, English medium vs Afrikaans medium. To add to the rivalry their locations are close. Then, too, there is the age difference, for Grey, founded in 1856, is 110 years older, which makes Framesby upstarts in a way. Added to that, Framesby are a really good rugby school, capable of challenging Grey for hegemony of Port Elizabeth.

Season So Far

Framesby have won nine of their 10 matches, Grey eight of their 12. Framesby have played only one team ranked in the Top 20 and they beat Boland Landbou. Grey have played three teams ranked in the Top 20 and not beaten any of them.

Framesby are ranked 18th on the Top 20.
