Independent Schools Rugby Festival, Day 1
The matches at the Independent Schools Rugby Festival kicked off at Kingswood’s City Lords Ground on Saturday, 23 June 2018.
The first teams in action were St David’s Marist of Inanda, Johannesburg, and St Andrew’s High School of Bloemfontein. St David’s won that.
In the main match of Day 1, Bishops beat hosts Kingswood 19-10.
The only big defeat was that of unbeaten Hilton College over St Alban’s of Pretoria.
