Duvenage, who has returned from France, has been-been training with Cape side for the last few weeks but has not featured yet for Cape side in this year's Currie Cup Premier Division.

"Tim [Agaba] has trained with us today [Monday] so that is obviously a loose forward possibility, but he has not played XVs since the Currie Cup last year," WP head coach John Dobson told reporters at the team's High Performance Centre in Bellville.

Agaba, Duvenage gives Dobson extra options"Dewaldt [Duvenage] has also been training with us for a couple of weeks so theoretically they are in the frame as far as I know."

Meanwhile, Western Province face the unbeaten Sharks in a must-win encounter at Newlands on Saturday and Dobson has called for a big performance from his pack against Robert du Preez's men.

"They are unbeaten and they got a very good pack of forwards. They are all Super Rugby players in that pack. They are very physical and they play a very territorial-based game.

"It is a big challenge for us – it is probably going to be decided by how our pack stands up," Dobson added.

Western Province picked up their first win last weekend against the EP Kings. However, Dobson was not pleased with his team's overall performance.

"I was not pleased with the performance or the ball control, but we are seeing some positive signs in terms of the attack.

"We were a bit frustrated that we didn’t get more points because we left plenty out there, but it was one step on the ladder.

"In what we tried to do in developing our attack, we made some significant progress," he said
