De Bruin praises Lions' effort after Kimberley win"I am very happy with the effort that the players brought, especially in the first half, said De Bruin.

"I would have liked to get the bonus point earlier, but we are very happy to leave here [Kimberley] with five points.

"We wanted effort from the players and we got effort. We are very thankful and it was a good victory here in Kimberley.

"We are starting to become a team now."

The Lions, who were at the bottom of the standings before Round Nine started, are beginning to look like a more cohesive unit.
