New injury concern for Bulls

While the Bulls came through relatively unscathed from their nailbiting 44-42 win over Griquas last week, there is one new injury.

Loose forward Shaun Adendorff is the only casualty.

Adendorff left the field at half-time with a knee injury, with a scan confirming that he suffered a Grade One MCL tear.

The bye will afford him additional recovery time and he is expected to be available for selection when the Bulls resume their Currie Cup campaign next week.

Travis Ismaiel and Johannes Prinsloo are making good progress from their respective injuries.

Johnny Kotze will take part in selected team sessions this week as he makes his way back from a hip pointer injury.

The Bulls, when they come back from the bye next week,  will return to action with two tough away matches – against the Golden Lions in Johannesburg and the Sharks in Durban.
