The only positive is that they have a bye this week and the injured players will have some additional recovery time.

Several players are still awaiting the results of scans, done in order to determine the severity of their injuries.

Fullback Justin van Staden is doing limited training this week after he picked up an injury to his toe.

Scrumhalf Reynier van Rooyen is also doing limited training while awaiting the results of an MRI scan for a tear to his medial collateral ligament.

Replacement back Deon Helberg is sitting out training with a bicep contusion. Results from an MRI scan will determine whether there is a tear.

Centre Hennie Skorbinski is not training after he suffered a concussion during the game and is undergoing tests.

He may have to undergo surgery.
