Emile Temperman has a quad contusion and is not training pending a fitness test on Thursday, while Hennie Skorbinski has a mallet finger injury on his left hand. Skorbinski is training within limitations and will have X-Rays, but will likely be able to play with a splint on his finger.

In terms of long term injuries, Marlou van Niekerk will be in a boot and crutches for at least six weeks after tearing a ligament in his foot.

Reynier van Rooyen is out of his knee brace and will have at least two weeks of further rehab for his knee ligament tear.

Hooker Francois du Toit is having a clearance test on Monday for the bruise to the sacroiliac joint in his lower back.

The Pumas are currently eighth on the standings after six losses from six games. Their five log points in the tournament so far came via five bonus points.
