Bristol duo returns to Sharks

Both players started their careers at Sale Sharks in the Academy and were regular first teamers when they left to join Bristol in 2015.

Marc, 29-year-old,  made his first team debut for Sharks back in the Premiership winning season in 2005/2006 and went on to make 158 appearances as a hooker. During his time at Bristol Marc captained the side.

Will, 28-year-old, was born in Macclesfield and made his Sharks debut against Brive back in 2009 in the European Challenge Cup Quarter Final. Will made over 100 appearances for Sharks before moving to Bristol in 2015.

Sharks Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said, "Its great news for the club and the supporters that both Marc and Will have decided to return to the club. They both know what we are about, the culture of the club and where we want to be,"

Speaking about signing Marc said, "I have some great memories of playing at Sale Sharks and living in the North West and am looking forward to playing for the club again. I have enjoyed my time here at Bristol and would like to thank the club and the fans for their support,"

Will was also delighted about returning to the North West and said, "I grew up watching Sale Sharks and am looking forward to be returning to the club who I played for from leaving school. Living and playing in Bristol has been enjoyable and the club and the supporters have been great to me and my family,"

Steve Diamond added, "Our signing programme is moving along nicely and we are just awaiting news on work permits and visas before we are able to announce some International signings,"
