The veteran flank, who celebrated his 35th birthday last week, was on the end of a slick backs move and dived over in the corner for Sarries’ fifth try during their 41-6 win over Bath.
The win ensures that Saracens will once again be in the semi-finals as they attempt to win the title for the third time in four years.
"It was lovely to get a little meat pie – they don’t come very often," the 86 Test Caps Springboks revealed via Saracens official website.
"It’s always nice to get a freebie – now I know what Sean Maitland and all these guys feel like! Chris Wyles has made a living out of it,"
Burger continued: "It was a big win. That was what we were aiming for all week; strive to put on a good performance after last week.
"It was never going to be easy as Bath have so many good players but credit to our boys for playing 80 minutes of good footy and getting the right result is a bonus,"
Meanwhile, fellow South African Michael Rhodes was delighted to make his long return from injury against Bath.
The South African was introduced midway through the second half for his first action since injuring his hamstring against Ospreys back in January.
Last season’s Players’ Player of the Season declared his body ‘good’ after the comeback and is happy to be out there in a Saracens jersey again.
"I’m very pleased to be back," he said.
"It was nice to get some minutes out there and get the win against a good Bath side so I’m very chuffed.
"It’s been quite a long, frustrating journey back to playing footy.
"There were moments where I was huffing and puffing out there but that’ll come with time.
"I’ve had a long lay-off so I’ve got to get used to the contact again but the body feels good and it was great to get out there,"
