Saracens centre forced to retire

Commenting on his retirement, Streather said: "Retiring from this great game is one of the hardest things I'’ve had to do, but with the medical advice I have received, there is no other option for my long-term health and well-being.

"I've been lucky to have enjoyed my time in the game, with Nottingham in the Championship and four amazing years at Saracens. I leave the game having made so many wonderful memories on and off the pitch and I've made some friends for life along the way. I'd like to thank everyone at Saracens for their help and support during my time at the club."

Streather joined Saracens in 2013 from Nottingham, where he broke the Championship side's try-scoring record in a successful four-year spell in the East Midlands. He made 30 appearances for Saracens, and was a part of the club's Anglo-Welsh Cup winning side in 2015.
