The Cheetahs take on Italian franchise Benetton Treviso at Stadio Monigo in a Pro14 Round 13 match on Saturday.
Boks Uzair Cassiem, Teboho Mohoje and Francois Venter – who missed the 28-21 win over Scarlets in their last outing back in December – will make the trip to Europe.

Scrumhalf Tiaan looks set to be sidelined for six weeks with groin injury, while fullback Clayton Blommetjies is staying at home with flu.

There remains some uncertainty over the future of star wing Makazole Mapimpi – who has been linked to a move to the Sharks.

In November the Sharks announced that they had secured the player's services for the 2018 Super Rugby season, but he is named in the Cheetahs' tour group.

Reports in the Bloemfontein media also suggested he will remain with the Cheetahs.

At the time of publishing Cheetahs coach Rory Duncan had not responded to queries about Mapimpi's position.

Cheetahs squad: Craig Barry, Rynier Bernardo, Tom Botha, Uzair Cassiem, Adriaan Coertzen, Johan Coetzee, Luan de Bruin, Jacques du Toit, Joseph Dweba, Reniel Hugo, Nico Lee, Makazola Mapimpi, Charles Marais, Niel Marais, Mthokozisi Mkhabela, Teboho Mohoje, Retshegofaditswe Nche, Junior Pokomela, Paul Schoeman, William Small-Smith, Torsten van Jaarsveld, Francois Venter, Shaun Venter, Carl Wegner, Fred Zeilinga.
