Tipuric had to be withdrawn minutes before Ospreys' European Champions Cup match against the Saracens.

According to the Ospreys statement, the flank won't be available for the proivince's upcoming Pro14 match against the Newport Gent Dragons.

However, they have not revealed the duration the flank will be out on the sidelines.

"He won’t be available for selection this weekend," the statement read, adding: "The Club will continue to assess his prognosis as the week goes on,"

Meanwhile, Dan Baker's season has ended after he sustained knee ligament damage in the Clermont Auvergne match that will require reconstructive surgery.

Scott Otten will also be out for eight weeks due to an AC joint injury.

While, Samoan Kieron Fonotia and  Canadian wing Jeff Hassler will miss Friday's fixture based on the Head Injury Assessment (HIA) protocol, respectively.
