Cronin gets the Ireland call

Cronin recieved the call-up after Dave Kilcoyne's injury.

Kilcoyne picked up a knee injury during Munster's  48-3 Champions Cup win over Castres over the weekend.

Kilcoyne is being reviewed by the Munster medical team and could miss the beginning of the Six Nation's campaign.

Ireland kick off their Six Nations with a clash against France in Paris on Saturday, February 3.

The Ireland squad departed on Monday for a training camp in Oliva Nova in southern Spain and will return to Ireland on Friday.
