Ellis Park is sold out

The Lions Rugby Company confirmed the news on Monday with many fans leaving the ticket office empty handed.

The system will be checked for any errors and should there be any available it will go to the supporters that had to turn around empty handed at the ticket office on Monday.

The match on Saturday will be coach Johan Ackermann's last in charge of the Lions before he leaves for English Premiership club Gloucester.

The Lions ended the regular season on top of the overall Super Rugby standings with the Crusaders finishing in second spot.
