According to the New Zealand Herald, Aumua is set to spend six weeks in a cast and require further six weeks of rehabilitation, which means he will only return mid-August.

The 20-year-old's injury, he sustained during the team's 38-37 win over the Sharks, leaves the side short of hookers, with captain and All Blacks first-choice Test option Dane Coles still recovering from knee surgery.

Coles' return is expected in July.

Meanwhile, All Blacks halfback TJ Perenara has also had his return date pushed back as he recovers from a knee ligament injury.
