Jordie set for No.13 role again

Regular outside centre Vince Aso is still out with a groin injury and he did not travel with the Hurricanes' squad to Canberra.

Barrett did a good job at outside centre in the Hurricanes' 31-22 win over the Crusaders in Wellington last weekend and he will probably be first-choice to partner Ngani Laumape in the midfield again.

Aso could return to action in the semifinals if the Hurricanes get that far.

Meanwhile, Jordie's brother Beauden will wear the No.10 jersey against the Brumbies.

Beauden was a late withdrawal from the side the beat the Crusaders because of a viral infection.

"He took 48 hours to get over that [infection] so he's away," Hurricanes coach Chris Boyd told stuff.co.nz.

Hooker and regular captain Dane Coles is also set to make his return to Super Rugby via the bench on Friday.

Coles has been out of action since March when he suffered concussion symptoms after his side's victory over the Highlanders.
